Armin Effenberger - biography - Armin Effenberger

Armin Effenberger is a producer and songwriter based in Prague. He played violin at 6 years old. Armin studied composition and arrangements, classical guitar and singing at Prague Conservatoire. Armin spent his time playing and listening to music. During this period he taught himself piano and bass and programming.  He joined every band from the local symphony orchestra to jazz, reggae and rock bands. After Conservatoire he began producing song demos for several singers and songwriters.He specializes in digital composition, programming and sound.  To the heroes of his study years such as Stravinskij, Debussy, Miles Davis were soon added the bands from the world of electronics as Kraftwerk, Air or Depeche Mode. In 2001 he founded an synth-pop group Cartonnage. He edited his debut Cartonnage CD1 on his own label EARecords in 2004.
